Czasami jest tak, że potrzebujemy skonwertować jakiś plik wideo do audio. Taka rzecz może być przydatna chociażby, gdy chcemy uratować trochę miejsca na naszym dysku twardym czy udostępnić nagranie w serwisie, który przyjmuje tylko i wyłącznie pliki audio. W takich sytuacjach zdaje się, że użytkownicy zarówno Maca, jak i Windowsa posługiwali się zewnętrznymi narzędziami pokroju FreeMake Video Convertera czy jemu podobnych programów. Niestety dosyć mało rozpowszechnione jest narzędzie wbudowane bezpośrednio w system MacOS. Nie należy ono co prawda do najbardziej rozbudowanych aplikacji kiedykolwiek napisanych przez człowieka, ale mimo wszystko wykonuje swoje zadanie dokładnie tak, jak powinien.
Użycie tej funkcji jest niezwykle proste. Wystarczy tylko zaznaczyć jeden lub więcej plików video, jakie chcemy przekonwertować na audio (najprostszym sposobem jest tutaj użycie widoku listy w Finderze i wbudowanych w VoiceOver skrótów służących do zaznaczania elementów). Następnie należy tylko otworzyć pasek menu (VO+M), i z menu „Finder” > „Usługi” wybrać opcję „enkoduj zaznaczone pliki wideo”. Wybranie tej opcji spowoduje otwarcie nowego okna.
Jest ono bardzo proste. Pierwszą opcją, na jaką natrafimy po jego otwarciu jest wybór formatu. Wykonujemy na niej zwyczajnie kliknięcie (VO+SPACJA) i wybieramy opcję „Tylko audio”. Spowoduje to wygaszenie większości opcji w oknie. Pozostałych pięć natomiast zostanie omówione poniżej
- Wybór lokalizacji: jeżeli opcja „zachowaj plik obok pliku źródłowego” jest odznaczona, pozwala wybrać miejsce zapisu pliku wynikowego.
- Zachowaj plik obok pliku źródłowego: Zaznaczenie tej opcji spowoduje wybranie lokalizacji pliku źródłowego jako lokalizację zapisu pliku wynikowego.
- Anuluj: Zamyka okno konwersji.
- Kontynuuj: Rozpoczyna konwersję.
- Usuń pliki źródłowe po zakończeniu konwersji: Usuwa oryginały po zakończonej konwersji.
Jako bonus dodam, że istnieje możliwość ustawienia sobie skrótu klawiszowego wywołującego okno konwersji. Wystarczy udać się do preferencji klawiatury, zakładki „Skróty” i tam odszukać odpowiednią opcję.
Mam nadzieję, że zademonstrowanie przeze mnie rozwiązanie przypadnie wam do gustu, i że zaoszczędzicie dzięki niemu sporo czasu i miejsca na dysku.
